Make it count

Last night was one of the hardest Muay Thai classes I've had. Not because of technique, my partner, or length. It was hard because of the heat. he gym was a sauna! 30 plus bodies in the room didn't help either. Every time I kicked it felt like I had on ankle weights! We could have easily coasted through the session to insure that no one injured themselves. Instead, our teacher pushed us hard and fast and made every drop of sweat count. There were times when I felt like hurling, passing out, and/or quitting. But I pushed through and felt great afterwards.
Life is like that some time. The heat of our lives, the stress of the unknown, or even the fatigue of our failures can make us want to tap out. We can't quit. Make every ounce of pain count for something good. Don't waste your experiences. Push through. Trust me, you will feel so much better in the end.
