Discipleship by design

Had a great time with my friend and mentor Mike Warren. It was great to catch up and share a little wisdom with 3 West Point Cadets. We talked Army, music, food, and of course discipleship. I believe that the reason we don't see a lot of authentic Biblical discipleship is because it cost too much. It cost time, effort, personal space, and emotional energy. Honestly, who lines up to give that stuff away? Nevertheless, it is what we are called to be and do. I'm so thankful to God for allowing me to live a life that is designed for discipleship and mentoring. Are you living the commission?
