Let's Pray

God, help us to love like you love. Show us your glory. Let us see it in each other and in the least of these. Thank you for grace that is greater than all of our sins. Thank you for mercy that is new every morning. Teach us to walk in humility, share you publicly, and live for you privately. Break our hearts with the things that break yours. Give us clean hands, pure hearts, and eyes that see what you see. May we flee from sin, pursue your presence, and care for your people. Be lifted up in our lives. Be exalted in our speech. Take your rightful place in our decisions. Thank you for keeping us from temptation. Thank you for your Word and your Spirit that allows us to understand it. And when all is said and done we'll praise you not because you need it, not because we expect something in return, or because we have to. We'll give you all of the glory because you are worthy, you deserve it, and there is none like you. To the only wise God be glory,honor, dominion, and power...both now and forever. Let it be so.
